they seemed to get married so quickly, and dealt with the living and working in different provinces of Canada, and Lou gave up a lot to come back to the ranch, i just think it was really good writing on how people come together and make decisions and life throws curve balls.
I know Peter and Lou still love each other a lot. Lisa had her own life and farm and loved Jack and they even lived separately when they were married for a while.

Some of my favorite episodes of the series are Broken Heartland, the entire family comes together in ways, Georgie thru adoption, Ty came to stay the the ranch as part of the program to help young people, none of the family came together conventionally. when she bought that house, it seemed like the breaking point. It seemed like Peter was always doing anything to make Lou happy and then he finally stood up for what he wanted and she was upset. I wish that they worked it out, but i know sometimes in life that doesn't happen. I dont like the divorce but i liked how they showed their relationship and it crumbling and how it affected Georgie. There definitely are adult situations like the divorce of Peter and Lou. It was Net that got me hooked on this show. I was so happy when I heard this news from my friend Net.
